2 Years old and Reading

Yes folks, you read that correctly.  My little girl is only 2 years old and she can already read!!! :)  Well, sort of...she has memorized her current favorite book and reads it to me:

She is so cute flipping through the pages and it makes me smile to think of her reading stories to her baby sister in just a few more months.  She keeps looking at me like I'm crazy when I point to my belly and tell her to speak to her baby, but she does understand and talks about getting her sister all the time.  I was a few years older than Abney will be but I remember clear as day the first time my baby sister came home and I was thrilled that she seemed to recognize my voice.  I hope my girls can be as close as Sallie and I are and that they enjoy every day they get to play together and be little girls.

One final cute note on the reading, Abney seems to have with is the purple cat which every time she just says "Meeeeowwwwwwww, meeeeeeeowwwwww what do you see?"
