Baby Princess

Sweet Abney, we had so much fun this weekend and you got to meet a real princess at Addie's birthday party!  I've called you my Baby Princess for as long as I can remember and it is so much fun to get to take you out dressed as one.

I was rather shocked you sat still AT ALL to get your face painted and the fact that you signed up for such a large and beautiful adornment was incredible.  You were so cute and looked like a little lady patiently waiting while she painted you.

The princess also read stories, taught princess lessons, and painted toe nails or finger nails.  Your choice.  Well the choice was easy for Princess Abney since the day before you had taken the pedicure on for yourself!  Mommy wanted to paint your toes and left out a brand new jar of hot pink polish because you were not quite ready when I originally requested.  I went upstairs to gather a few things while you finished up Tangled.  Then you walked in my bathroom looking like this:

Total mommy foul but I must say you did a fairly good job for your first time and somehow managed to only get one small spot on the carpet.  (Yes, when I first saw your feet I had visions of a hot pink pool in the middle of my brand new beige area rug).  I see years of hot pink feetsies in your future!

Now we have the waiting game wondering when our second Baby Princess will arrive.  She seems to be making some progress and we will know more after heading back to the doc this morning.  Hopefully soon you'll be a Big Sister!
