IT'S A GIRL!

We can officially announce that we are expecting a baby girl! Ben and I are very excited and cannot wait to meet her. Every week that passes this experience becomes more and more real. I am anxiously awaiting the day I feel her first kick, although I'm not sure how happy I will be after the first 1,000. :)
This weekend Ben and I spent time around the house and our first day at the community pool. We had a birthday celebration for one of our neighbors and it was so fun to see everyone and spend some time in the sun. We've had so much rain this year I was not sure if we would ever get a chance to enjoy the pool. Hopefully the Vitamin D will do me some good!
Today I am working hard on picking out paint colors for the house. The second trimester has been much easier and I am enjoying the ability to run errands and eat normal food finally. Our goal is to take advantage of this time and finish projects so I have nothing to complain about once I am laid up in the third trimester. So for our guests we now have fans in both rooms and plan to have all paint complete by the end of June. I am so excited to have these projects complete because next on the list is the nursery and I will need lots of guests to help me pick out the cutest little girl necessities and to figure out what qualifies as a "necessity."
