Tonight Ben and I heard the sweetest sound on earth; Abney's laughter. We've had a few starting tastes over the past week but tonight she actually giggled! I was changing her and giving her kisses and raspberries and she let out a big giggle. I squealed and then yelled for Ben to get upstairs immediately. He and I both kept doing everything we could think to entertain her so she would give us more of the sweet sound. She is not quite having regular belly laughs but it was the first time we really heard her laugh. Too sweet for words.
We've had lots of changes over the past two days that I will have to catch up on. First, cousin Jude was born on Saturday, the Saints won the Super Bowl, and Abney is now sleeping in her own room. Yep, lots to say about each of those. And today my little girl is laughing and can sit up on her own. She's growing up too quickly but oh so beautifully.
