Isn't she beautiful? These days with her sweet little face and all the napping she does I just want to curl her up next to me and never ever let her go. I want her to grow into a beautiful woman but part of me wants to keep her this way forever. She is already almost 9lbs from the 7.28 we brought home and I can hardly believe how big she has gotten! (According to our home scale which is fairly accurate, unfortunately for me LOL). Outside of good health, I am extremely thankful for her weight gain because she is now able to sustain herself for longer stretches of time at night without waking for food. And by longer stretches I mean the past two nights she has not woken up! We put her down around 11:30 last night and she did not wake until 7:00 this morning. The night before she went down around 10:30 and woke up around 6:30. It is a miracle! Of course I am not sleeping all the way through the night just yet because I keep checking to make sure she is breathing but we are one step closer to having night time sleepers in our house. :) Not even four weeks old and hopefully on the path to sleeping all night long. Proud, proud Mama.
